David Badesch is an interdisciplinary artist working in the mediums of sound and video. Born and raised in Chicago but calling LA home since 2022, Badesch has spent the majority of his time contributing his expertise in audio/video production to two of the cities' most renowned arts institutions: the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago and the Huntington Museum, Library, and Gardens in San Marino, CA. Badesch’s ambient, experimental, and often improvisational music performances feature meandering non-melodies and analogue/digital mashups. His musings lean heavily on autoharp and keyboard tones which are fed into LogicPro and manipulated in real time, resulting in uncanny soundscapes.
